I use XMLTV (which fetches from zap2it.com into XML) and then a bunch of custom scripts and what not to generate HTML and then I pluck that. (Far too messy to share, I'm afraid.)
However you can probably make XSL to go with the XMLTV XML and then transform it into HTML and pluck that. (Or do that in one step with JPluck.) > -----Original Message----- > From: William Fishburne [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, June 19, 2003 4:37 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: TV Guide > > > Anybody else have a 17 year old who flips like a madman? > This drives me crazy (and I do apologize to those of you who > appreciate watching a television screen that blinks > constantly). So, I'd like to grab the listings from www.tvguide.com and throw them into plucker. There are about a zillion problems with doing this. It is table format, it uses cookies, etc. Has anyone else already gone through this pain, or should I continue to plod along at my admittedly slow pace and see if I can figure it out? TIA, William Fishburne P.S.--I haven't asked the sitescooper list this same question yet, but it isn't in the list of already scooped sites. _______________________________________________ plucker-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list _______________________________________________ plucker-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list
