I've noticed that if I try to pluck pages while the hourglass cursor is still visible, then the plucks fail. If I wait until the normal cursor appears then plucks work fine. You might try waiting a bit ...
When I fire up JPluck 0.9 the hourglass cursor takes quite a while to disappear after all my channels are listed. JPluck also takes a long time to shut down. What is the applicaiton doing that takes so long during these times?
It's opening and closing the cache and it means your cache DB is getting too big. Currently the only way to solve this is to delete all records and compact the database. See Tools -> Options -> Cache.
As for the issue of HTTP timeouts: this happens when you select MSIE as the cookie source. The MSIE cookies option will be removed. MSIE users can still export their cookies to cookies.txt format.
There will be a 0.9a version that addresses these issues.
