JPluck 0.9 has a development tool for converting HTML to XML which you can 
then copy and paste into an XML editor.

Xpath Explorer[1] is a java program for doing just that.  On Windows, you 
can also use an XML editor such as firstobject[2] or Cooktop[3] both of 
which are free and can generate xpaths.  Try firstobject, it's small and 
does a pretty good job.
