It is natural, so the system doesn't end up sending out 20-meg
attachments to users who may be "testing" templates, or who may use the
wrong maxdepth value. There are some sites for which a link depth of 3 or
higher, would basically end up fetching several thousand webpages. Not fun
to process server-side, or for bandwidth.

You should be receiving an error email that indicates why your
template wasn't processed. I'll add a line to the code to Cc: myself in on
the errors, and see what might be causing these. The error emails look
something like the attached email. I just tried to send a request to pler
with no URL, and I received that error email back right away. Are you not
getting these error messages?

If the zip returned doesn't "drag it to the desktop", perhaps it's
empty? What happens when you double-click on the zip? Are there any files
inside it?

> Are there any things that I could do to help this?

The limitations are likely small (aside from bandwidth). There's a
few other features I want to add, but just haven't had the time recently.
I'm way behind on almost everything <sheepish grin>. There are a few
requests from people on the pler newsgroup for new features, and I'm working
on those in my spare minutes, which are scarce these days.

To solve the bandwidth issue, I'll just limit the final delivered
file size to be something like 300k instead, regardless of link depth used
in the template. If your fetched content is larger than 300k, it just won't
deliver it, and will return you an error message instead. Would that help?

> Thanks for making this service available!

You're quite welcome. Keep the feedback coming.
