Hi,
I just released JPluck 2.0 prerelease 14. [1] The big new feature is the PluckThis Mozilla extension that converts pages directly from the browser. [2] Installing the extension adds a new item to the Tools and right-click context menus. Invoking PluckThis starts a wizard that lets you specify conversion settings. The wizard, in turn, invokes JPluck to convert the document. (JPluck runs within the browser, through LiveConnect.) I've been working on this extension on and off over the past few months. Getting it to work was a major effort. It's still a bit rough around the edges - installation is quite an involved process for instance - but it works really well once it's up and running. I use it mainly to pluck long stories while browsing. It saves the effort of creating a JXL entry for "incidental" plucks. I tested PluckThis with the latest Mozilla and Firebird releases. It will probably work with Netscape as well, but I don't have that installed. This will definitely be the last JPluck 2 prerelease for some time, unless there are any major, show-stopping bugs. As always, let me know what you think.
