MemoryMgr.c NULL handle on UX50

The only piece of software I've installed on my new Sony Clie UX50 is 
Plucker, HiRes version (May compile).  It read two docs fine and now, 
regardless of docs (which the UX allows you to delete at the pdb level), it 
gives me...
	MemoryMgr.c, Line 3564, NULL handle

followed by a mandatory soft reset.

Any ideas?
