Yes. This version links statically to the Palm Desktop DLLs. This means that the DLLs must be in the PATH or the conduit DLL must be placed in the Palm Desktop directory. The latter option is the most user-friendly. You do not have to place your DLLs in the Windows directory. In fact, it's best if you don't and just edit the PATH to point to the Palm Desktop directory instead. I still have to fix the installation script so that the DLL is placed in the directory pointed to by "HKCU\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\Core\HotSyncPath". Will do that for the release candidate next week.
