Hi. I'm not sure if this will get through to the list but i thought i'd suggest the following:
Make the plucker distiller convert PDF files to images via ghostview (its dead easy), compress them, and stick them into the file. I made a pdf viewer for palm this way, and it works remarkably well (GZip makes a very good job of compressing that type of image - especially paletted). With an SD card its not like a few extra kb will matter anyway... (infact in most cases the final version took less space than the PDF and of course all formatting/images were preserved :)
Seconded. Anything which might decrease by one the number of viewers installed on my Zire 71 is worth thinking about, although it adds another dependency (Ghostscript) to the Windows installation. (Presumably any Linux distribution worth installing has GS as a core application).
And Adobe Reader for PalmOS is dire - it runs fearsomely slowly with a completely non-standard user interface and a huge Windows desktop installation for good measure!
Alastair
