I think the original poster that said it was out got confused with the freeware utility I posted about earlier. Avantgo hasn't done crap all about releasing an OS X client, despite reassuring everyone over two years ago. So mac users have made their own 8-). Here's the link again:

It's based on malsync, but malsync on its own does NOT work with USB connected palms. This one does. I have been using it for a few days now with success.

Oh, and I would recommend using the Avantgo client 5.2. Apparently there are instructions somewhere saying to use client version 4, but this doesn't work on OS5 and it's a load of bull anyway. 5.2 works fine.
