Upgrade to a newer version of the Palm viewer app. There are font related changes in the 1.7 and 1.8 versions that may help you. I run Plucker 1.8 on a Tungsten E with about 14MB free RAM. I have a batch of Hi-res fonts from Alexander Pruss installed, in /Palm/Programs/Plucker/Fonts, and Plucker will quite happily use them and let me switch between them. You can get Alex's Font Conversion tool (which will convert Postscript fonts into OS5 compatible hi-res fonts) and an assortment of pre-built fonts at http://sourceforge.net/projects/palmfontconv/. (The font converter is a Tcl-Tk application, and expects ActiveState Tcl to be available. I don't know if it will work on a Mac with a Mac port of Tcl-Tk.) Note: converted Hi-res fonts are *big*, like 400-500 KB each, so placing them on an expansion card is advised. > Ralf ______ Dennis _______________________________________________ plucker-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list
