I've just updated my Java version to JRE v.5.0 to get AzureusJust change the shortcut so the target is=20 'java -jar "C:\Program
working=20 better (100% cpu usage bug) but unfortnately it seems to
have broken=20 Jpluck - it will still load quite happily, but doesn't
want to parse=20 any pages (it just sits there - no error message or
anything).
Files\JPluck 2\jpluckx.jar"' instead of
"C:\Program Files\JPluck 2\jpluckx.exe"
That worked fine, thanks. I've found that I can run Jpluck using the old JRE (which incidentally the new one didn't seem to uninstall anyway!) and then when I hotsync the Jpluck conduit still transfers all the files to the card for me (I disabled the autoupdate for my JXL file) - seems to work a treat!
Alan and all who care about this.
JPluckX.exe looks to see if the is folder called JRE in the same folder as JPluckX.exe and uses that.
If you are running Windows 2000 -or- Windows XP, you can create a junction to whichever JRE you wish (in this case any 1.4.2_XX version) and you will be good to go!
