I've seen that (my garbled i's didn't look exactly like that, I think, but very similar) (on a T2). My impression is that it doesn't happen all the time: that sometimes if I've had to do a hard reset, then on reinstallation the fonts look fine. So I was guessing it was memory corruption of some sort. However, I guess if it's always the same letter, and if other people are seeing the same with the same letter, then random memory corruption doesn't seem likely.
