I already have the windows keys remapped. They work on everything I've
used except Thunderbird. I guess it's not such a big deal now I know
about that menu. Thanks

Derek,
I can't help you with re-mapping the keys you want, but those symbols
are available in Thunderbird 17.0.2. That's what I have going. From
the menu tool bar select "Insert", then pick "Characters and Symbols".
Scroll to what you want...

Hope this helps.

I remapped my windows keys so that the right one gives me a £ and the
left one a ¢. This works on every app I've tried, except
Thunderbird. For it I have to print them in something else then copy
and paste. Any ideas how I can get those keys and characters to work
in Thunderbird?
Thanks
