lot of help so far too.
I would set the code up like this:
print("Welcome!")
guess = 0
while guess != 5:
g = input("Guess the number: ")
guess = int(g)
if guess < 5:
print("Guess higher.")
elif guess > 5:
print("Guess lower.")
else:
print("Correct.”)
Just set guess = 0 explicitly. Because you are setting the value there is
no need to then pass it through the first int() function. This is cleaner
because you are only using the variable "g" once.
