I use an actual chrome cast device here. It functions rather well for a cheap 
$69 wi-fi receiver. It has a power lead and an HDMI port. Not sure about Roku. 
I didn't much like the Roku as virtually everything offered via their service 
had a subscription fee attached.

so, if you want a unit that can get whatever programming you want for $35 a 
month, get a chrome cast.
