I got a new computer, mint xfce was already installed and everything was great. There was one little problem though... there appeared to be a window to the left. It didn't present a problem so I ignored it.... until today. I stepped away from my computer for like an hour and when I came back something was wrong. I restart it and when it came up only the terminal (which I set to start automatically) came up. Chrome (which is also set to start), did not come up. I restart it again and the same thing. I hit cntl-shift and the other chrome window opened (I realize now) which is right on the edge of the window so I could see the othe window....I even stretched into the new window. I attempted to open chrome from the tty (after killing the exiting instances) and it did open in the window I can't see. I tried opening firefox and it opened in the window I could see. Can anyone give me directions on killing the window to the left?
