OK, I ran the ntpdate command within strace and got the output attached. It seems to be sitting there polling for something and never receiving a reply. At least that is what I see.
Anyone else see anything different? Or have any idea why the poll never completes or gets a result? And what exactly is it polling for? -- Steve
