I tried the OPTIONS="-4" suggestion in the /etc/sysconfig/named file and restarted named on all my nameservers but it made no difference. Doing the following:
r...@adm # ssh new75 (or any of the 50 - 70 RHEL5/CentOS5 servers) takes a LONG time to get a shell prompt.
