I'm doing some house cleaning and throwing out old diskettes, etc. Among them are eight 5.25 floppies containing Tannenbaum's Minux system. In the '90s I bought his Operating Systems book & talked my dept. into springing for the Minux floppies using the coupon in the back of the book (I think that they cost $80). Minux, of course is the system that started Linus Torvald on his epic journey that ended with Linux. Does anyone want this piece of history? Mark Jarvis |
