These are some main activities happening in the event: September 20 : Opening ceremony and seminar by Dr. Nagarjuna on "Why Free Software". Dr. Nagarjuna is the Chairman of Free Software Foundation of India. He is working in TIFR, Mumbai and is involved in many projects on expert systems/Knowledge management etc. Other speakers on this day are Mustafa from RedHat. He is the Technical Manager for Global Software Services department at Red Hat Software Services (India) Private Limited, Pune. Abhijeet Gupta from Codito will also be talking on GCC. September 21 : Speakers for the day will be Friji Karthikeyan and Atul Malhotra, Sameer Dhavle,Manas Alekar and others from Codito . Friji works on Enterprise QT apps in Xandros Inc. People from Codito work on various technologies like embedded systems, developing compiler tools etc. September 22 : This day is full of activity. Speakers will be Ravi Aranke who is the Director Support Services, Red Hat India. Patanjali Somyaji who is theCEO of Codito and someone senior from IBM. Another highlight of the event will be Seminar/talk on various topics on all three days by Niyam Bhushan. Niyam is a technology writer and a columnist in various newspapers, magazines like Linux for You. His talks are a real treat and the topics he has selected are excellent.
