I use gaim as yahoo, msn & irc client. Many times gaim wont connect to irc server returning an "read error". In the same time period , under windows, mirc does connect without any trouble. What is the "read error"? and how can I fix it? There is no specific time pattern as far as being able to connect irc throught gaim. It connects on chance. Shodhan
