Is he one of the moderators/admins/power-to-be ? I almost never understand his emails (May be problem lies with me) but I am certain that that 99% of his emails are NEVER ABOUT LINUX !!! (May be that is why I don't understand his emails)
A while ago, there was a big discussion about "strict" moderation of this list, yet such "not related to linux and hard to understand" emails are allowed.
