Thanks. I have inclination to choose Intel processor, just to avoid application level issues. I'd also prefer 32 bit mode even if the processor is 64 bit. (E.g. wine does not work on 64 bit, at least on NetBSD.) You seem to suggest Asus as a brand as well. Right? I can search for Asus boards for Intel processors then.
