Seek suggestions for the following accessories to RPI2: 1. Basic audio (speakers, mic), very compact so as to not occupy much space.
2. Basic UPS. Purpose is to just last till a clean shutdown in case of power failure. Should be a way to signal power failure to Pi so that it shuts itself down. Read about super capacitor UPS which looks nice for the above purpose, but most articles are DYI.
