[plug] What is g++?

I sure would appreciate anyone's help with compliling Qt2.1 because I am not a programmer.  My problem is after following the install guide in the source file for Qt, I encountered an error message like:   g++ command not found   What is g++? Is it a compiler?  How do I get it installed?  Is it included with gcc? I searced the RH 6.2 CD buit I could not find any RPM that goes by that name.  I am running RH 6.2 on a 32 Mb, Cyrix 233 system.  I want to install Qt because I need libqt??? to install the open source CAD application Qcad.   Thanks in Advance.   Holden
