As far as books are concerned, it's probably best to start with an O'Reilly
book. Learning Perl is good if you're just starting out. I think I saw a
couple of copies in National Bookstore, Shangri-la. After that you can
survive on the online documentation and by asking questions on Usenet.
I always make it a point to check the Amazon.com customer reviews and sales
ranking before buying anything.
