Good day. Upon the last meeting of the board last 20 April 2005, the board has decided to enact these provisions to be effected on all mailing lists maintained by PLUG:
1. Change of mailing list addresses: [email protected] -> [email protected] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2. Formalization of mailing list police. Due to unfortunate events wherein certain mailing list subscribers would repeatedly and blatantly violate the established rules of not posting job-related mail as well as soliciting for commercial purposes, the board has decided to deputize volunteer members to serve as mailing list administrators to police such posts. "List Police" reserve the right to issue corrective action as seen fit. 3. Restriction of certain mailing lists. [EMAIL PROTECTED] is now restricted to bonafide members. The consensus of the board was to purge the list then manually add members (to be done by the President and the VP-Internal) to ascertain membership. No one was spared from this as board members' emails who are subscribed to plug-org were purged from the list as well, pending reinstatement.
