You;re using gaim right? If you expand "Show more options" on your account details, you should put a check on "Use TLS if available". Anyway, Google has detailed instuctions on how to setup gaim to use their Jabber server. http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/answer.py?answer=24073 The only thing missing there is that their Jabber server is also avaiable on port 80. :D -- Gideon N.
