question: will all the local LUGs recognize PLUG as
the umbrella organization?

the officers of PLUG and the other LUGs might want to
meet up to discuss the organizational matters and
maybe even medium-/long-term plans. the by-laws of the
various groups might need to be modified...or will
there just be one set of by-laws. hmmm, legal stuff.

this could be done in parallel with organizing f/oss
support groups. members of all the LUGs should do
promotion work. i guess the meetings and events would
be the minimum.
