So it can be done. Forgive my kakulitan, but my question now is how? Can
somebody show me (us?) how? Specifically how can one set-up a box that
will allow running multiple instances of the Xserver? Will the Xserver
configurations be similar to LTSP?
If HP had configured the 441 Pcs to run at a mere 512MB of RAM compared to
the 2GB RAM (is this correct?) required by LTSP, i bet that the average
gaming PC could handle the load.
I am really interested in this, since with this even a small baranggay
elementary school can have this set-up. Considering that one can buy a
surplus/secondhand PCI video cards for less than Php500, and for
instructional purposes, sound is rather just optional. A surplus/Monitor
can also be bought at/or below Php800. so this would really benefit a lot
of kids/people, especially in the rural areas like my hometown.
Thanks
