imho you can consider the following solutions

wifi (cheapest using 18db - 20+ db  unidirectional antenna via dlink or etc, security concern
radio (motorola  P100k - or + im not that sure ) no  security concern  >>  infocom tech you can contact rey sulit 8400772
FSO ( lightpoint $6k>> correct me if im wrong ) no security concern >> correct me if im wrong
leased line or framerelay ( monthly service depending  on the bandwidth  you need )

someone told me years ago that laserbit is not that reliable...although it's worth trying out the new models.  test it out on a rainy day or when you have many birds flying around.  :)
 
cheap but slow:  point-to-point wifi
