Yeah I tried that too. The terminal window where I type "modprobe -r 
usb_storage" would just freeze. Ctrl-C, nor "kill -9" on another terminal 
window won't help at all. :( I also have a Sandisk Cruzer (128 mb) and I 
never had any problems with it various Linux distros (Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, 
Knoppix, etc.)
