Subject: [plug] Reserving memory from buffer cache for kmalloc

I did a search for this. Kernel mailing lists say that there is no way
to reserve memory from being used by buffer cache. Do you know of a
workaround?

try to play with /proc/sys/vm/*... section 2.4 of /usr/src/linux/Documentation/filesystem/proc.txt will give you some pointers... but still the best solution is to contact that device driver developer about your problem...

fooler.
