Subject: [plug] Identifying the number of simultaneous TCP connectons

Hi,

Is there any way to find the number of simultaneous
TCP connectons in linux kernel.
I want to limit it to ,say, 5 connections, preferably
in router machine.
My setup is like this
client----------router machine---------server
whenever the simultaneous TCP connections between a
pair of hosts(client-server) exceeds 5, I dont want to
forward the packets in the router.i.e router allows
only 5 simultaneous connections between a pair of
hosts.
How can I implement this in router machines TCP stack.

take a look at iptables' limit match feature...
