cant find any /etc/rc.sysinit file in ubuntu.

all i can see is this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls /etc/rc
rc0.d/ rc1.d/ rc2.d/ rc3.d/ rc4.d/ rc5.d/ rc6.d/ rcS.d/

what is the equivalent of /etc/rc.sysinit file in ubuntu?

thanks

Hi,

I'm using a Red Hat distro so this is just a recommendation. You can try putting swapon -a in your /etc/rc.sysinit file since this is read during boot up.
