I just noticed on the website though. Does the product being sold locally also has CNR subscription bundled? How about the availability of local support personnel?
What's the main purpose of the RAVE system? I actually need to register a my Linspire product to be usable? If the purpose is just to check for authenticity, isn't the CNR regsitration enough? A system without a CNR subscription won't update via Linspire right (you still have your other debian sources though)?
