AntiVirus stuff, antispyware stuff and the associated hassle is one of
the main reasons i dont want to use windows anymore. And if this same
stuff is going to be necessary in linux in the near future then im
getting ready to dump linux now.

Why not just structure the system so you dont need the antivirus?
Like, design your software so you dont need error messages anymore.
