i think lo means linked object and so means shared object. correct me
if i'm wrong.

There is no error in the compilation. The "make" command was successful. I
was only wondering why in the guides I have followed, it supposed to create
the files mod_jk.so or mod_jk2.so, instead I got mod_jk2.la, mod_jk2.lo and

Anyway, it is working since last Sunday. I just downloaded the Fedora Core 1
binary that is available in the website and it seems it is compatible with
my CEntOS4.3.

The Java port and Test pages works.

Are there an issue here in terms of security since it has already no
support?
