hi,
you should have xdmcp configured for your ltsp server. window
managers have different ways for enabling xdmcp.. mostly use gdm and
kdm. your server should also be running at runlevel 5 (as what i have
tried before)...

Thanks John for the help. The kernel
is already booting remotely to my thin clients. Problem now is I think
is X. It won't show the login screen after the kernel boots.

Re: [plug] Can't Get LTSP 4.2 to Install
You didn't give me enough info to think about your problem, so i'm
giving you a more
general answer.
1. Check if dhcpd is running and that you have the correct
configuration. A prototype
of a correct configuration can be found at
/etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf.sample i think. So
you have to rename it as .conf
2. Moving on, check if you have tftpd running. On my ubuntu system, i
had to install
xinetd and and run tftp from xinetd
3. check /etc/exports. If you have used ltspadmin properly, you won't
have to worry
about exports file
