It's a very good point. Not everyone has the tinme or expertise to configure
open source apps. A key to its acceptance is for non-technical people to be
able to use it without having to read anything. Lets face it, for any of us
to use windows or macs, we really don't need to open any manuals. In fact, I
think the macs don't have any manuals anymore.

Of course you would still need it. Ignorance is what drives the "don't
need manuals" argument.

'man' on my OSX Panther takes me to the "BSD General Commands Manual."
Though I must admit that configuring printers on OSX is a breeze...
