Yes, the script runs. If I call it myself it writes to the log.

Did you checked that your script actually write to the log? If the script actually has output to write to log, it could be somewhere the logging itself.

I have cron setup to run a script which logs to a file. But there are no changes made to the output file everytime it is called. I checked cron's log and it did call the script I wrote.

I'm using CEntOS 4.3. Anybody else experiencing this?
