Ladies and Gentlemen of the list, As well as doing LocalFOSS I am also launching a weekly online radio programme which focuses on the Australian FOSS community.
Open Source On The Air is a magazine style programme which interviews developers/power users within the community, businesses that offer FOSS related services/products, examines the various LUGs and other groups and more. I am letting this list know about this because I am interested in setting up a more internationally focused version of the programme. One which would compliment what LocalFOSS is trying to achieve, that is promoting those FOSS communities that don't often make it into the "main stream" media. I would be interested in hearing your comments on the show, format and content, etc, etc, and also whether you would be interested in the international version of the programme. The show goes to air for the first time tonight 7:30pm Philippines time and can be listened to here: http://radio.localfoss.org/ -- James Purser Producer/Presenter - Open Source On The Air A LocalFOSS Production http://www.localfoss.org irc: #localfoss on irc.freenode.net
