You FOSS experts will benefit from this bill. This would mean more projects if this would pass into a law. It would be hard to do in fact so its needs all the support it can get to balance its chances. If FOSS will be more expensive than proprietary then let it be. It would be interesting to the lawmakers I think. :-) Let burden of proof of which is more superior be on proprietary software. This is their business anyway. This will raise the bar on product quality. If a proprietary software cant even match a FOSS then it has no reason to still be there. I believe that are there are still proprietary software that is much superior to any FOSS software of its kind but many of FOSS software are already far superior with proprietary rivals.
