You should really understand in the first place what we are up to when you
embrace this thing called "FLOSS". It's like you're paddling against the
tides, so it would be normal to receive such negative comments. Even RMS had
received a lot of criticisms and rejections on his crusade for free software
(until now). There was even a point in time wherein he has to compete alone
against a pool of developers just to prove that his software works.

This PR thing is just the game of these big corporations with deep pockets.
So it's up to you if you want to dance to their beat. You should not be
affect (or be too emotional) when you see something like Pascual's article.
If you hear things like FLOSS is not secure, not yet stable, or not yet
ready for primetime, that's just simply because they are not paying
attention.

So let's not sweat on the small stuffs, start coding and tinkering systems.
Just show them that we want FLOSS because it simply ROCKS and freedom you
can do almost anything (and not be limited by Intellectual Property
bogacity).... and btw, it WORKS!

I'm just galled by people who act like they have no Utang na Loob. I
think we are indebted to these guys who started out GNU/Linux. No, we
whould never worship them; but at least respect must be given when it
is due. We are enjoying these freedom that we now have because of
Stallman-minded people.

I think that the question should be asked is: what are YOU doing? At
least Stallman is doing something positive. What about YOU? So I'd
say, let them do their jobs and do yours. Stop unnecessary criticisms.

Peace!
