Hi Doc Mana! It's great to read your posts again. :)

Maybe we should split the list into two sublists: PLUG.tech and PLUG.politics. This way, people looking to get answers to Linux-technical problems do not get their posts lost in the middle of raging political issues, or worse, get their concerns lost because of more important political questions.
I like this -- I like it very much. :) Though I agree that PLUG-misc is the current should-be-catch-all-non-tech list, but somehow putting an [OT] into the subject gives us a lot of leeway to "just post whatever we want". Someone asked me before why we don't moderate the list, and my answer is because we currently don't have the support structure to enable this. I for one appreciate the moderation in the Boost developer mailing list, even though sometimes when the moderators are busy posts get stuck for an hour or so. Should be a good enough price to pay for a free public mailing list IMO. Maybe something like "PLUG Moderated" which is a filtered version of the "PLUG Free for All" where we fuse PLUG-misc and PLUG together. That should be fun. :D Have a great weekend everyone! -- Dean Michael C.
