Hi Everyone!

This is an open invitation to the people (still) fond of Internet
Relay Chat to join us at the #PLUG channel in the irc.free.net.ph
network. I'm posting details as to how you can get into the channel
(just in case you're new to IRC):

Step 1: Download an IRC client

There's plenty to choose from, and your favorite distribution may
already have packages for these applications:

 * XChat (personal favorite, debian package name `xchat`)
 * BitchX (CLI based IRC client)
 * Chatzilla
 * Kopete
 * GAIM

Step 2: Setup IRC client to connect to the `irc.free.net.ph` server

Here are the complete details (for xchat at least):

Servers: irc.free.net.ph/6667
No SSL required

Step 3: Connect to irc.free.net.ph then join #plug

You can join the channel by typing '/join #plug' (without the quotes)
on the input text field. You can even make this automatic upon
connection depending on your IRC client's configuration details.

Step 4: Chat away and observe cleanliness (Or Have Fun!)

See you there, and let's socialize or solve problems! It's pretty much
like the mailing list, only more interactive. Let us know who you are
too (I'm mikhail^ in the network) so that we can get conversation
going with people we may already be discussing stuff with on the list.

Hope to see more of us in the channel!
