Afaik, bad technical advise was never tolerated in the mailing list. Same also goes with gross technical disinformation. So why are we going to tolerate it now? If we do so, this would look bad on us as the list information is archived for present and future users to be used as reference. We don't mind technology bashing, as long as its truthful, and there's no personal bickering/trolling demeanor involved, and done in good taste (aka netiquette). Disclaimer: I've been using NetBSD since version 1.6.5 - it did suck back then, but at least nowadays they've caught up a lot. But I won't use it on my SMP servers these days as Linux just runs better on them. -- Paolo Alexis Falcone [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
