i already install gpc-2.1.i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz to /opt
what you installed was a gnu pascal compiler... it just a compiler without
an IDE...
once you untar and compile without an error... the binary file is a gnu
pascal compiler...
read its manual...
fooler.
