I dont think that will work. Getting money from an angel and then start plugging away will not work. When funding dries up your project dies. You have a very short deadline. And believe three years is a very short deadline for a programmer and too long for an investor. You need subsidy either from the government, from a foundation or from a day job. The idea is to be able to develop continuously with costs close to zero. But of course you have to make sure you are fulfilling your markets needs. That means release early and release often. So when you start diverting from the goal you get immediate feedback. In the Philippines capital is scarce and accessible only to a select few. A lot of capable programmers are waiting for angels that will never come. > > > > _________________________________________________ > Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List > plug@lists.linux.org.ph (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) > Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists > Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph > -- Lay low and nourish in obscurity _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List plug@lists.linux.org.ph (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
