Hi, You can use authenticating switches, like this one http://www.foundrynet.com/products/security/si-lan-switches.html , otherwise, Im not familiar with any linux solution that can do this. If however your network is subdivided into smaller subnets, you can use openbsd as gateways and use authpf to authenticate your users in that level.
